On February 5 and 6, Chef Lionel welcomed Chef Thomas Troupin, for a “4-hands menu”, to be enjoyed in each room.
Guests enjoyed an all-inclusive formula, including one night’s accommodation, the 4-course menu & 2 appetizers, aperitif, wines and breakfast the next morning.
A four-handed menu is first and foremost a moment of sharing, between two chefs, but also with their customers. However, the current health crisis unfortunately forbids the customers from witnessing the chefs’ know-how and prevents the chefs from greeting their customers at the end of their service.
This is why the event was filmed in the restaurant’s kitchens so that their customers could observe the chefs’ work on their televisions in each room! Three hi-tech cameras were set up in the kitchens to film the two chefs and their team throughout the preparation of this 4-service menu.
It was a wonderful moment of remote sharing that was much appreciated by the customers present for these two fully-booked evenings. Chefs Chefs Lionel Richard and Thomas Troupin, as well as their team, also enjoyed virtually sharing these evenings with their customers, while they wait for the opportunity to welcome them once again to their restaurant.
Chef Thomas Troupin will open his new restaurant TOMA in Liège in the coming weeks.
