Discover the Haute Fagnes natural park

MY HOTEL is located less than 10 minutes by car from the Hautes Fagnes & Signal de Botrange, the highest point in the in the country.

The Hautes Fagnes natural park is the largest major nature reserve in Belgium, with a surface area of more than 5,000 hectares, situated to the north of the municipality of Malmedy. The Hautes Fagnes is an exceptional setting for visitors and hikers, in a preserved natural environment boasting breath-taking views.

Discover the region on foot or by bicycle

Malmedy is also the starting point for many walks through the neighbouring countryside and surrounding villages. You can also use the soft mobility Ravel trails network to discover the region ecologically, on foot or by bicycle. Dress warmly and go on a discovery tour of our surroundings!

For culture lovers

If you want to discover Malmedy and its history, then there are many cultural visits you can enjoy in Malmedy, in museums such as the Malmundarium, at Malmedy Cathedral or also the Reinhardstein Castle.

Malmedy boasts incomparable folklore as well as a friendly and festive spirit! Don’t forget to include the enchantment of winter in Malmedy, which takes place from Friday, 1^st December 2023, to Sunday, 7^th January 2024, in the heart of the Village of Malmedy. This new edition of the Malmedy Christmas Market will offer a series of activities to delight young and old for more than one month.

Folklore is also an essential part of the carnival season in Malmedy and the surrounding area! Our region has many processions, such as the Cwarmê in Malmedy, the Laetare of Stavelot, the Laetare in Sart & Tiège, and many more!
