The Natural Park of the Hautes Fagnes is the largest nature reserve in Belgium, covering nearly 5,000 hectares. The Fagnes offer an exceptional setting for visitors and hikers, with breathtaking views no matter what the season! Malmedy is also the starting point for several outings in the local nature and the surrounding villages. The Ravel can also help you gently walk or cycle around the area, whether you’re travelling as a couple, with family or with friends.

Also to be discovered: the Malmundarium Cathedral of Malmedy, the Intermills site and its many activities (Escape Rooms, cinema, private karaoke, climbing, etc.), not to mention the many museums in the vicinity!

Folklore is also essential to the carnival season in Malmedy! In light of the public health situation, the procession of the Cwarmê will not take place… But the City has adorned in its finest colours and decorations to honour folklore!
