MY HOTEL is located less than 10 minutes by car from the Hautes Fagnes & Signal de Botrange, the highest point in the in the country.
The Hautes Fagnes natural park is the largest major nature reserve in Belgium, with a surface area of more than 5,000 hectares, situated to the north of the municipality of Malmedy. The Hautes Fagnes is an exceptional setting for visitors and hikers, in a preserved natural environment boasting breath-taking views.
Discover the region on foot or by bicycle
Malmedy is also the starting point for many walks through the neighbouring countryside and surrounding villages. You can also use the soft mobility Ravel trails network to discover the region ecologically, on foot or by bicycle.
Experience the folklore of Malmedy
Malmedy boasts incomparable folklore as well as a friendly and festive spirit! In winter, of course, there is the famous carnival: the Cwarmê!
But the agenda of the city and the whole region is always full of events. Don’t hesitate to ask for information at the tourist offices.

This season is the ideal opportunity to discover the folklore and traditions of our region.
The 2023 edition of the “Laetare de Sart-Tiège” will be held on Sunday, March 12: a carnival with a procession of floats entirely covered with tissue paper flowers.
The following week, the 518th “Laetare de Stavelot” will take place in a neighboring village, a few kilometers from Malmedy, from Saturday 18 to Monday 20 March in Stavelot. On Sunday, no less than 2500 participants will take part in the Grand Cortège with the traditional Blancs Moussis!

Also to be discovered: the Malmundarium, the cathedral in Malmedy, the Intermills site and its many activities (Escape Rooms, cinema, private karaoke, climbing wall, etc.), not forgetting the many museums in the surrounding area!
